About the authors: Peer Heinlein
Peer Heinlein has run his own internet provider in Berlin since 1992 when he began using Atari, migrated to OS/2 and then finally to Linux in a UUCP and TCP/IP network. He operates his own infrastructure, circuitry, server and technology and also shares his years of knowledge by teaching, instructing and lecturing at training courses and forums nationwide.
His passion for the possibilities of secure communication gave rise to his first book, „The Postfix Book“, first published in 2002 by Open Source Press and now in its second edition. Open Source Press also published his 2004 book on LPI testing and, together with Thomas Bechtold, a book on Snort intrusion detection.
About the authors: Peer Hartleben
Peer Hartleben is the CTO and Linux security consultant at Heinlein Professional Linux Support GmbH where he has been responsible for the in-house provider for five years. He is specialized in the running of Cyrus mail servers. Hartleben shares his knowledge and experience not only in this book but also in training courses.
